The California State Fair Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose goal is to further the growth and participation in the California State Fair by building partnerships and opportunities to enhance State Fair experiences, competitions, and educational outcomes.
How We Support the California State Fair
The Foundation's role is to partner with the California State Fair
To establish partnerships with stakeholders in broadening awareness of the role the California State Fair plays in California’s communities and to encourage Fair attendance by highlighting how agriculture, energy (generation and storage), technology, environmental sustainability, cultural/arts, community (including underserved populations) and work training opportunities shape California’s future generations.
Strategic Planning
The role of the California State Fair Foundation is to work in partnership with the CalExpo Board of Directors and staff to identify opportunities to enhance the State Fair experience that reflect California including its industries, agriculture, and diversity of its people, traditions and trends.
New Experiences
Through non-profit giving and fundraising, the Foundation seeks to bring people together to create extraordinary moments through education and public involvement exhibits.
Generations Supporting Generations
To develop new opportunities to enhance the Farm located on the grounds at CalExpo and encourage increased awareness and educational opportunities about California's rich agricultural history and how this industry supports our communities today.
